National Trust Dunwich Heath wanted to introduce new branding to unify the visitor information across the site. Ugly Studios were commissioned to create an emblem, brand colours and signage that would present a consistent and modern look to their visitors.
Using the National Trust guidelines as reference, our branding design reflected the family-focused atmosphere at Dunwich Heath. A vivid yet subtle colour palette of purple with contrasting green and yellow was used to echo the rich flora, such as heather and gorse, that thrive on the heath.
NT Dunwich Heath have implemented our branding across the site, including staff uniforms, café spaces and leaflets. We also designed and delivered a new suite of directional signs, warning signs, building signs, activity trails and interpretive panels that follow the new design.
