The Museum of East Anglian Life embarked on a project to look at the general happiness of the population of Stowupland, a village in mid Suffolk. Part of this project was the production of an online exhibition.
Idea
Working closely with the museums education officer we designed an interface that allowed visitors to compare different aspects of life that affect happiness from different time periods. A graphical look for the project balanced references to the past with a bright modern feel.
Result
Although the site was last updated five years ago, it is still regularly attracting visitors. As well as providing online interpretation it also has a marketing role for the Museum as many visitors click through to look at the main website.
