We\u00a0are proud to announce that Langham Dome<\/a>, our project with the North Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust, has been shortlisted for an Association for Heritage Interpretation ‘Discover Heritage’ Award!<\/p>\n

\"Ugly<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Already an award-winning site, Langham Dome has been shortlisted from a record number of entries in the Visitor \/ Interpretation Centre category. The project saw the re-imagining of a derelict World War 2 building as a unique and immersive heritage experience, supported by the efforts of the Friends of Langham Dome, NNHBT and Ugly Studios.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are shortlisted alongside\u00a0the Stonehenge Environmental Improvements Project<\/a>, the Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre<\/a>, and Queen’s View Visitor Centre<\/a> for the award, with the King Richard III Visitor Centre<\/a> and the Guildhall, Derry-Londonderry<\/a> as highly commended. Each category winner has a chance of winning the coveted 2015 AHI Award for Excellence in Interpretation.<\/p>\n

We now wait the in-depth assessment by AHI site judges during the summer. We will find out whether we have won when AHI patron Loyd Grossman announces the winners at the gala awards ceremony, held at the AHI conference on the 21st October at the Hilton Central Hotel, Newbury.<\/p>\n
