{"id":3103,"date":"2017-04-13T14:14:04","date_gmt":"2017-04-13T13:14:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uglystudios.com\/wordpress\/?p=3103"},"modified":"2017-04-13T14:14:04","modified_gmt":"2017-04-13T13:14:04","slug":"easter-excursions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uglystudios.com\/wordpress\/?p=3103","title":{"rendered":"Easter Excursions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>With the spring bulbs blooming and some of our own over-winter projects coming into fruition, we thought it was high-time we shared with you some of our newest work, all of which is open to visitors over the 2017 Easter Holidays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">St Augustine&#8217;s Abbey, Canterbury &#8211; English Heritage<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last weekend saw the launch of new interpretation at St Augustine&#8217;s Abbey in Canterbury. English Heritage commissioned us to design a trail and other fun and games to help interpret this UNESCO world heritage site. Habits come in adult sizes too, so there&#8217;s dress-up fun for all the family (sorry&#8230;.!)<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Langham Dome, Langham\u00a0&#8211; North Norfolk Historic Building&#8217;s Trust<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A little closer to home, we installed two new touch-screens at Langham Dome ready for their Easter opening. The first screen, a World War Two\u00a0Slang Quiz, tests visitors on their slang-knowledge and highlights\u00a0the black humour that helped personnel at RAF Langham keep going during wartime. Using\u00a0archive photos of airmen\u00a0stationed there, it gives explanations of slang terms, usually irreverent, and each correct answer sees you rise up through the RAF ranks. Get it right, old chap? <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sheringham Park, Sheringham &#8211; National Trust<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, we worked on an update at Sheringham Park\u00a0Visitor Centre for the 2017 season.
