Hurrah! Ugly Studios Wins World War Two Touchscreen Commission!

Exciting news! We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been chosen as the lucky winners of a commission to produce a touchscreen for Chelmsford Museum, run by Essex County Council.

The commission was awarded on the basis of our previous work for clients such as Norfolk County Council, Suffolk Coast and Heaths Areas of Natural Beauty (AONB) and Essex County Council.

Complementing our interpretive trails which will be displayed throughout the county at the end of September, the touchscreen will engage the public in Essex’s rich heritage from the second world war. With the country’s essential defence lines running through the county, users of the touchscreen will discover World War 2 relics across the region in front of their very eyes.

The project is a great opportunity to combine our passion for heritage and history with our latest progress in touchscreen technology.

We’re looking forward to employing our previous experience of touchscreen technology, such as at the Humphry Repton exhibition at Sheringham Park.
